Yoga guru Ramdev’s statement on “Bharat Mata ki jai” slogan on the occasion of Sadhbhavna Sammelan is a disturbing one. The BJP is relying upon slogans “Jai Shree Ram”, “Jai Gaumata” and now “Bharat Mata ki jai” as an election plank to befool the gullible people. It negates the development agenda. Except for chanters of these slogans and Deshbhakti sycophants, nobody would be in favour of the slogans. What the people of this country want is overall development and not empty slogans.
