JAMMU: Continuing its campaign in Jammu-East Constituency to seek vote and to take stock of problems, PDP contesting candidate from Jammu-East, Bharat Choudhary said that women empowerment is the priority of party.
Around 100 Congress workers including women led by Congress leader Raj Kumar Mehra joined PDP in presence of Bharat Choudhary along with other senior leaders Vinod Mahajan and Women Wing Present, Shanti Devi at Ware House Bikram Chowk here on Saturday.
Welcoming the new entrants in the party fold, Bharat said that joining of Raj Kumar in the party will strengthen the PDP. He also stressed upon them to work hard and spread the policies and programmes of the party in every nook and corner of the Jammu-East constituency. He assured the local people for an early redressal of their problems.
Ved Mahajan, Shanti Devi, Zafar Iqbal, Ashok Jogi, Ayodhaya Kumar, Vikram Singh, Vijay Raina, Amit Gupta, Sunny Ashwani and Raj Kumar Mehra also addressed the gathering.
