JAMMU: National State Government Employees Federation (JK) decided to hold a day-long State level conference on 11th May 2016 at Brahman Sabha Parade Ground Jammu wherein about 200 delegates from different organisations and government departments are expected to participate. In this regard, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of K.K Langer, State President of NSGEF.
Speaking in the meeting, Langer discussed various demands of the State Government and public sector employees such as regularisation of all daily rated workers, minimum wage of workers not less than Rs 400 per day for unskilled workers, enhancement of medical allowance upto Rs 2,000 lumpsum per month, removal of pay anomalies of clerical cadre, allowances pattern for all government employees be same during transfers, release six per cent D.A from January 2016 etc.
