JAMMU: To promote healthy competition and encourage employee centric activities, Yogananda Staff Premier League (YSPL), was organized in Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology (YCET) Sports Ground, here on Monday.
In the final match played on Monday, Electrical Thunders defeated Mechanical Warriors by five wickets. Jaipal Singh, the top scorer in the final match with well made 54 runs, was declared Man of the Match.
Chief Guest, Vidhi S Singh, Chairman, JGEI, gave away a winner trophy to Dinesh Gupta, Captain of the winning team in the presence of Guests of Honour, Th. Shiv Dev Singh Jamwal, Vice Chairman, JGEI and Renu Bangroo, Managing Director, JGEI.
The tournament was organised by Golden Gladiators Club under the guidance of Loveneesh Talwar. The match was officiated by Sahil Gupta and Harjot Singh as Umpires.
Dr. Seema Narain, Director, YCET, thanked the organising club members and congratulated the winners and commiserations to the runner up team.
Vidhi S Singh, Th. Shiv Dev Singh, and Renu Bangroo congratulated the winners for putting up a brilliant cricketing performance.
