Srinagar:- A 60-year-old woman was allegedly beaten to death by her husband following an argument at heir house in Kupwara district of north Kashmir, police said today.
Nazim Jan was brutally beaten by her husband Ghulam Rasool Khan over some trivial issue at their residence at Nowpora-Suliman village of Tangdar near the Line of Control yesterday, a police spokesman said.
He said the critically injured Jan was rushed to a hospital here and later succumbed to her injuries.
The body was handed over to her relatives after completion of legal formalities, the spokesman said, adding the police has registered a case and started with the investigations.
