SRINAGAR: Eight structures were damaged in separate fire incidents across the Valley.
Fire broke out in the residential house of Mohammad Maqbool Khan, resident of Cheepora in the jurisdiction of Police Post Khurhama Kupwara, resulting in damage to the structure. Fire was brought under control by fire tenders.
In another incident, fire broke out in a readymade garments shop belonging to Firdous Ahmad Bhat, resident of Redwani at main market Kulgam, resulting in damage to the shop. Fire was brought under control by fire tenders.
Meanwhile, fire broke out in three residential houses of Mohammad Subhan Chopan, Abdul Ahad Chopan and Abdul Razaq Chopan, residents of Bankoot in the jurisdiction of Police Station Pethkote, Bandipora. Fire also engulfed nearby three shops, resulting in damage to all the structures. Fire was brought under control by fire tenders.
However, no loss of life or injury was reported in these
incidents.
