SHOPIAN: In order to make necessary arrangements in connection with celebration of Eid Milad-un-Nabi at Assar Sharief Hazratbal Pinjoora, Shopian, the Deputy Commissioner, convened a meeting of the officers connected with essential commodities in his office chambers here today.
The Deputy Commissioner called upon the officers to ensure necessary security arrangements, availability of potable water, medical facilities, uninterrupted power supply, availability of rice, sugar, flour, kerosene, LPG, regulation of traffic, cleanliness in and around the Ziyarat Sharief and providing of firewood for warming the Hamam.
The officers assured the Deputy Commissioner that the requisite arrangements will be made in order to facilitate the devotees. Consequently a team of the officers was deputed on spot to take stock of the necessary arrangements.
