Bhartiya College of Education, Udhampur celebrated Christmas. Principal, Government Degree College, Udhampur, Prof S.S Bhalwal was the Chief Guest on the occasion.
Welcome address was presented by P.L Suri while proceedings of the function were conducted by Manishee and Isha, the students of the college.
The students of the college presented Christmas Carole, one act play depicting the message of brotherhood and oneness among all given by Lord Jesus.
The Chief Guest congratulated the students on the eve of Christmas and New Year. Vote of thanks was presented by Savita Sambyal, the NAAC Coordinator of the College. SOS Hermann Gmeiner School
SOS Hermann Gmeiner School celebrated Christmas on Wednesday in the school premises with gaiety. The X-mas tree was decorated with buntings, laces and stars. A colourful programme was presented by the students. The displayed items were songs, dances and speeches on Christmas. Children were disguised in the dress of Santa Claus and fairies. Santa Clause distributed toffees to the children. Ashok Raina the House Master of Tawi House gave a message of love and peace on behalf of Principal and Staff. Geeta Bhan (PGT) Maths wished the children happy Christmas. Coordinator of the function was Sangeeta Dhar (TGT) Science.

Goenkans celebrated Christmas
Students of GD Goenka Public school celebrated Christmas with religious fervour and enthusiasm in their premises. A special assembly was organised by the students. In addition to the special Morning Prayer, Christmas carols were sung by the students. Christmas message was imparted to the students to commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ. Christmas poems in English and Hindi were recited by the students. The traditional Jingle Bells was sung in a melodious manner. Santa Claus was seen moving merrily in the assembly. The Principal of the School, Dr. R.P Singh gave message to the students to contribute to those who are in need and to guide the people who are ignorant and confused.

Mother’s Pride & Joy Pre school
It was a full on week Xmas Cheers at Mother’s Pride and Joy Pre-school. The celebration began with the field trip, with the children visiting the Church and sang Christmas carols had a fabulous time.
The children got to know about Jesus Christ and why we celebrate the festival. Kids were also shown things related to the day like – Christmas tree, Santa Claus, Joystick Reindeer, Stocking, Snow Man etc.
The week long X’Mas celebrations concluded today with Christmas Party with Santa Claus.

Humanity Public School
Humanity Public School, Bassi Kalan celebrated the Christmas with full spirit with beautiful depiction of the birth of Lord Christ by students. Various dances, songs, humming of the Christmas carols by young ones with sparkle in these eyes were enjoyed by everyone with great applause. On the eve of the birthday of Jesus Christ cake cutting was done. The sweets and cake was distributed among the students and teachers. Principal, Gaurav Charak said that the Christmas is a time to give and forgive. He further said that the precious gifts of hope, peace, joy and love were the gifts.

Vishav bharti
The students of Primary section of Vishwa Bharati Higher Secondary School Akalpur celebrated Christmas festival with a lot of zest and enthusiasm. Students of Primary enacted a play and a New Year song. Besides songs dances to the tune of some songs and speeches marked the occasion. Students of Primary Unit came dressed as Santa Claus and Angels.
The children also put up a fun filling show and sang Christmas carols performed dances.
Principal of the School, Annapurna Kaul terming it as the festival of joy and good-will congratulated every one present on the occasion. She also wished everybody a happy and prosperous New Year.
Principal of the school and in-charge primary wing Sharika Kakroo joined in all the kids stepped on the dance floor frivolously when Santa came dancing along to the tune of Jingle bells.
The celebrations were so captivating that it will leave an indelible impression on the minds of tiny tots.

DCM Public School premises
Christmas was celebrated in the DCM Public School premises. Toddlers of the school were dressed up as Santa Claus and distributed sweets among students and sang carols.

Students of JP World School Junior Wing celebrated Christmas with great pomp and snow. The students decorated a Christmas tree and Christmas corals were sung. Cake was distributed to all present.
Special children of Asha School celebrated Christmas festival at Asha School and Tiger Army Pre-Primary School, Jammu Cantonment. Chairperson, Family Welfare Organisation, Tiger Division, Usha Singh was the Chief Guest. A cultural programme of Christmas dance and songs was presented by special children which was appreciated by the eminent guests and parents. Singh presented the ‘Certificate of Excellence’ to those meritorious students who were recently honoured by the J and K Govt on the recently conducted ‘World Disability Day Celebration’ at Jammu. Singh also participated in the Christmas Celebration Ceremony at Tiger Army Pre-Primary School. Children performed a skit and dance. Santa Claus came in a decorated vehicle and distributed sweets and gifts to the children. The Principal, Sheena Bawa, organised a grand cake cutting ceremony on the occasion.
Christmas celebrated at Stephens School Jammu with fervour and joy. Children dressed in the fabulous attires of Santa and Fairies enthralled everyone. Principal Satvinder Saini and Vice Principal Rama Jamwal extended their warm greetings and blessings to the students.
The students of Springdales School, Barnai celebrated Christmas with gaiety. The kindergarteners and primary school students sung Christmas songs and danced to the tunes of Jingle Bells and Merry Christmas. The principal gave the welcome address and spoke about the significance of Christmas. The Guest of Honour, V.K. Malhotra, Ex- Executive Director, JKSPDC appreciated the efforts of the students and congratulated the staff members on the hard work. The celebrations ended with cake cutting ceremony by staff and students.
Christmas Day and Happy New Year was celebrated in RM College of Education with great fanfare and zeal. Students decorated the Christmas tree and presented a colourful cultural programme and different games including musical chairs.
The Chairman of the College, Rameshwar Mengi was the Chief Guest, Principal, P.K. Dhar and Trustee, Rita Mengi were also present. The Principal of RM Public School, Ravinder Kour was the Special Guest on the occasion.
Chairman threw light on the life of Jesus Christ. He talked about the qualities of love, peace & sacrifice.
Dhar and Rita Mengi also wished the students happy New Year and blissful Christmas. Ravinder Kour cited many examples of love and care from the life of Jesus Christ in her speech.
The students also enjoyed Mela which was organisd in RM Public School. Cake was cut and sweets were distributed among students and staff members. Ravinder Kour Senior Lecturer of the college organised the programme.kidzee
Kidzee-Preschool of Zee Learn Ltd celebrated Christmas at its Anand Nagar, Gandhi Nagar and Channi Himmat branches with great fervour.
The celebration started with a special assembly in which the kids were given demonstration depicting the birth of Jesus Christ.
The toddlers were dressed up in Santa Claus and Fairies spreading a colourful and delighting atmosphere all around.
A trip to church was also organised to make the kids aware about this grand occasion. Cake was also cut and distributed among the kids. In the end, sweets were also distributed.
Casper Playway School, Patoli celebrated Christmas with great enthusiasm and zeal. The children were dressed up as Santa Claus and fairies. The tiny tots danced, sang songs and enjoyed themselves. They also enjoyed sweets and snacks.
May Fair Higher Secondary School, Chand Nagar and May Fair School, Janipur students celebrated Christmas. Students from Pre–Primary and Primary wing of both branches took part in the celebrations. They were dressed as Santa Claus, Fairies and sang beautiful Christmas songs.
Chairman of the School, Vijay Basur appreciated efforts of the students. Director of the School, Abhey Basur threw light on the life of Jesus Christ.
Principal, Ranjit Kour, Vice Principal, Mamta Anand and Ritu and Kamaljeet Kour Coordinator Activities were also present. Sweets were distributed among the students by the Santa Clause.
Christmas-cum-Freshers’ party was orgnanised at New Millennium National College of Education, Sarore.
The programme started with the lighting of the traditional lamp by Principal of the College, Puja Gupta along with the members of the college management, faculty.
Various students of the college participated in the programme and presented many cultural items included Dogri, Punjabi, Rajasthani dances and songs which depicted the culture of different states. Nidhi Sharma hosted the programme.
Programme started with Saraswati Vandana and dances, songs were presented by the students.
Students and Staff members decorated a Christmas tree. Meenu, Nidhia Charak and Kamlesh gave a message that we have to celebrate every occasion jointly irrespective of caste, colour and creed.
Puja Gupta appreciated the efforts of the students and also wishing them good luck in future. Vote of thanks was presented by Sonia Sagotra.
Christmas was celebrated in New Rock Land Public School, Janipur Colony. Kids were dressed in the dresses of Santa Claus and presented colourful programme on the life of Jesus Christ. Christmas Rally was also organised. Principal of the School Vandana Bhadwal distributed prizes to the winners. Others who presented the function were Nishu Pandey, Reena Dogra, Anju, Neha Dabgotra, Supriya, Priya Jamwal and Ruhi.
The Christmas was celebrated in Activity Public Higher Secondary School, Janipur Colony, with enthusiasm. A cultural programme was presented and all the students were given gifts. Managing Director, Manohar Gupta and Principal, Rishi Gupta were also present.
A colourful programme was organised by the students and staff of the Knit Green Model Academy to bid farewell to 2014 and welcome 2015 and to celebrate the Christmas.
The students participated in fancy dress competition. Sushma, teacher of the school presented the Christmas song. The Principal, Komal Kotwal congratulated the management, the staff and the students of the school on the eve of Christmas and New Year. She wished the staff and the students happy Christmas and Happy New Year.
Christmas was celebrated by the students of SP Senior Secondary School Bari Brahmana with enthusiasm and fervor. Principal of the School, Prabha Gupta was the Chief Guest while CEO of the Institute Shivang Satya Gupta presided over the function. A bonanza of cultural and entertaining items was presented, highlighting the Christmas Festival.
