JAMMU: The government on Thursday ordered placement of Deputy Superintendent of Police (Ministerial) in the Selection Grade (Non-functional).
“In terms of the Jammu and Kashmir Police (Gazetted) Service Recruitment Rules, 2002, notified vide SRO 132 of 2002 dated 3rd April, 2002, read with Government Order No.653-Home of 2017 dated June 7, 2017, sanction is accorded to the release of the Selection Grade of Deputy Superintendent of Police (Non-functional) – Level 10-A (56600-179800), in the Pay Matrix, in favour of Pawan Gupta, DySP(M), PID No.MEG855486, with effect from August 30, 2023, subject to outcome of writ petition(s), pending if any, before any competent court of law,” reads an order issued by Raj Kumar Goyal, Financial Commissioner/Additional Chief Secretary, Home Department.
