JAMMU: Commissioner Secretary, General Administration Department, Manoj Kumar Dwivedi on Thursday reviewed various services forming part of the Business Reform Action Plan (BRAP), 2018 under Ease of Doing Business.
As part of the Business Reform Action Plan, 11 departments have been asked to offer 73 services on the online mode only. These include the departments of Finance, Health and Medical Education, Home, Housing and Urban Development, Agriculture Production and Farmers’ Welfare, Power Development Department, Industries and Commerce, Forest, Ecology and Environment, Labour and Employment, Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs and Tourism. While reviewing the services offered online, Dwivedi appreciated efforts of the confirming departments and advised them to periodically update the portals so as to provide user friendly services. Flagging concerns about the non-functionality of portals of some departments, Dwivedi directed these departments to expedite the process of making the portals live, so that the citizens are able to access such services through online mode in the shortest possible time.
The meeting was attended by officials of concerned departments.
