KATHUA : Project Officer District Urban Development Agency Kathua Jaffar Abass Batt on Thursday distributed certificate and tool kits among 20 beneficiaries under six month skill development training programme sponsored under SJSRY scheme in plumbring trade which has been trained at Basohi Kathua. The programme has been organised by District Urban Development Agency (DUDA) Kathua.
Project Officer District Urban Development Agency Kathua Jaffar Abass Batt highlighted importance of skill development training programmes through which unemployed youths can generate self employment ventures.
R. K Kalsotra associate LBO also explained various loan facilities and formalities to avail them without facing much problems and he suggested the candidates to approach banks for loan to start their own income generating units. He also appreciated the role of DUDA in imparting training to the youth of the urban areas. Head of institute Suraj also spoke on the occasion.
