JAMMU: In a special meeting of the representatives of Dogra Sadar Sabha (DSS) Sub. Division Khour was held under the chairmanship of Sukhdev Singh, where in Gulchain Singh Charak former Minister and President of Dogra Sadar Sabha participated as Chief Guest, a unit of Dogra Sadar Sabha Khour was constituted.
The team included Sukhdev Singh as President, Ludhar Mani Bhagat as Senior Vice President, Karan Singh as Vice President, Amit Sharma as General Secretary, Joginder Singh as Cashier and Sham Lal, Ghari Ram, Pritam Singh, Kulbir Singh, Angrez Singh, Sahdev Singh, Gharu Ram, Jagdish Singh, Shamsher Singh, Rattan Lal, Charan Dass, Sham Singh, Mangat Ram, Surjit Singh, Harnam Singh, Bawa Bachan Lal, Sham Lal, Pritam Singh, Balwan Singh, Shankar Singh, Kartar Singh, Kamal Singh and Subash Singh as members. Charak hoped that the newly formed committee will work whole heartedly for ameliorating the condition of the public living in the whole Sub Division Khour in general and inhabitants of the border area in particular. He also assured his full support and cooperation to the committee in all its endeavors for raising the burning issues of the area especially, the infamous Khour rape case and the injustice being done to the martyr Chamail Singh who was brutally killed by the Pakistanis in Kot Lakhpat Jail and his family.
