SRINAGAR: Police on Tuesday arrested two drug peddlers and recovered contraband substances along with cash of Rs 7,000 from their possession.
Acting on specific information, a police party headed by In-charge Police Post Dragmulla, Zahoor Ahmad arrested two drug peddlers identified as Faisal Ahmad Dar, son of Ghulam Mohammad Mir, resident of Andrhama, Dragmulla and Fayaz Ahmad Mir, son of Ghulam Rasool, resident of Fakeerpora, Dragmulla in Dragmulla. About 2.5 Kilograms of Charas, 57 strips of tablets, 300 grams poppy straw, seven CSD Canteen Cards and about Rs 7,000 cash was recovered on their instance.
A case FIR number 10/17 under Section 8/20 NDPS was registered against them and investigation was taken up.
