JAMMU: Police on Sunday nabbed a drug peddler and recovered 356 gms Charas from his possession.
As per the details, a team of Police Station Peermitha headed by SHO Police Station Peermitha Insp. Nayat Ali while on Naka duty at Peer Khoo Puli apprehended a suspect namely Javed Ahmed Nazar, son of Nazir Ahmed, resident of Sangal Dhaan at present stating at Bijbehara.
On search, 356 gms of Charas was recovered from his possession. He was arrested and a case vide FIR No. 71/2020 under section 8/20 NDPS Act was registered against him at Police Station Peermitha.
