JAMMU: Police on Sunday claimed to have busted an inter-state drug nexus by arresting a drug peddler and recovering 600 bottles of Corex cough syrup from his possession.
On a specific information, a special Naka was laid at Narwal wherein Incharge Police Post Narwal Mahmood Khan and Inspector Kuldeep Khajuria SHO Trikuta Nagar arrested one drug peddler namely Kamal Singh, son of Karan Singh, resident of Gandhi Nagar Jammu and from his possession seized 3 bags containing 600 Corex bottles of 100 ml each.
In this regard, a case vide FIR No. 63/16 under Sections 8, 21 and 22 NDPS Act has been registered in Police Station Tirkuta Nagar and investigation has been started.
