SRINAGAR: Continuing its drive against drug menace, Kulgam police booked a notorious drug peddler Nazir Ahmad Dar son of Ali Mohammad, resident of Churat under PSA.
He was involved in case FIR numbers 199/2013 and 284/2015 under section 15/18 NDPS Act of Police Station Qazigund. He was spreading drug menace in District Kulgam and a huge quantity of poppy straw was recovered from him. He was detained under PSA and lodged in District Jail Udhampur.
Needless to mention, that six persons were booked under PSA during past two months. Previously Reyaz Ahmad Wani son of Ghulam Hassan resident of Bugam was lodged in District Jail Kathua.
