KATRA: Police on Friday arrested a drug peddler and recovered 130 Gm Charas from his possession.
According to a report, a police party of Police Station Katra led by SHO Inspector Kuldeep Krishan, under the supervision Dr. Ashok Sharma, SDPO Katra, Sumir Kotwal, Addl.SP Katra and overall supervision of Sujit Kumar, IPS SSP Reasi, acting on a specific information and during checking /frisking PCP Nomain Tehsil Katra, recovery of 130 gms Ganja from the possession of one drug peddler namely Raju Kumar son of Ramtirath resident of Aishbagh Lucknow at present staying at last Morh Bhave Jammu. The accused person poses himself as Baba and has been living in Jammu for last 15 years and the accused sells the Ganja in small packets.
A case under FIR No. 13/2016 under section 8/20 NDPS Act was registered at Police Station Katra and investigation is in progress.
