There is an alarming increase in drug addiction among youngsters. The use of narcotics is a curse and has become a menace and a challenge to humanity. It seriously affects the nervous system of the user and makes him a burden on society. A survey shows that our young are using opium, charas, bhang or heroin as a fashion or to escape from worries. Most of the people fall prey to narcotic sellers due to ignorance. But once they are trapped, they become slaves of these drugs. These sellers are the enemy of humanity. They are selfish and want to become rich overnight. They deserve severe punishment, irrespective of their social status. It is sad that children are being used to sell narcotics secretly.
