Driver dies in gas tanker accident in Bhadarwah

BHADARWAH: A tanker driver died in an accident at Chamalwas about 7 Km ahead of Banihal on Ramban-Banihal NHW on Tuesday.
According to reports, A Gas Tanker of Bharat Petroleum bearing registration number HR55H-9448 was on its way from Jammu to Srinagar, when reached near Shalgari Chamalwas on Ramban-Banihal NHW , driver lost control on it and rolled down about 200 feet into shalgari nallah, Resulting driver died on the spot.
Locals and police rescued the driver from Tanker and shifted him to SDH Banihal where doctors declared him as brought dead. The deceased has been identified as Mohd Younis son of Ab Ahad resident of Village Sakri Distt Rajouri.
