JAMMU: Dr. Parveen Yograj, M.S (General Surgery) has won prestigious Curofy’s-2022 Icon of the year award for the third consecutive year.
The award has been given to the doctor in recognition to his notable contribution to the medical fraternity for clinical guidance, commitment& support round the year. Dr. Parveen is the only doctor from Jammu and Kashmir to receive this honor in the faculty of Surgery and bringing laurel to the State. He is a senior doctor in the Health Department, who has worked in different capacities in J&K, including Consultant with the then Chief Ministers, Divisional Nodal Officer, NHM, Jammu, District Immunization Officer, Rajouri and presently he is giving his services as Medical Superintendent, Government Hospital, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu.
Dr. Parveen Yograj is an active member of Curofy since its inception in 2016 and has done immense work in his specialty, i.e. Surgery. Till date he has posted 882 interesting clinical cases, write-ups & videos of all important health days. He remained involved in 15508 clinical case discussions with the other doctors across the country. The Curofy has also lauded the unwavering commitment and extraordinary efforts of Dr. Parveen Yograj on behalf of the medical community that has benefitted numerous patients, common man across the country, especially during the pandemic period.
