JAMMU: Dr Gurjit Singh, the well-known cardiac surgeon of the town, has been elected as the President of Association of North Zone Cardio-thoracic and Vascular Surgeons. He was elected unanimously to the post during the conference of the association held at Shimla on 11th June 2016 where he received the baton from outgoing president, Dr. H.S Bedi, Head of Cardio-thoracic and Vascular Surgery Department, CMC Ludhiana. Other office bearers of the association include Dr. Ashwani Suri (Head CTVS, Tagore Hospital, Jal.) Senior Vice President, Dr. Rana Sandeep Singh (Prof. CTVS,PGI, Chd) Vice President, Dr. Rajiv Kumar (Head CTVS,DMC, Ldh) Secretary and Dr. Rajnish Pathania (Head CTVS,IGMC, Shimla) Treasurer.
