Jammu: An on-going Inter-school Indoor Cricket Tournament hosted by KC Sports Club advanced further on Wednesday with Delhi Public School (DPS) defeating MHAC Nagbani in a closely contested match held inside the Cricket Hall of the Club.
In all, 20 teams from different schools of Jammu have already played their preliminary matches at the Club.
Rodney Jones, former coach and assessor of the Board of Cricket of England and Wales (ECB), gave away winner and runners-up trophies to the teams.
Jones is on a brief visit to Jammu to train young cricketers of Jammu at KC Sports Club. He congratulated DPS team on their victory and advised all the players present to play the game with complete commitment in order to improve their skills in it. He also commented that the teams could further practice and improve their skills by practicing in the evening and making use of the newly introduced Night Cricket matches in the club.
