JAMMU: To ensure professional growth and grooming the teaching skills of teachers, Delhi Public School (DPS) Nagbani on Monday organised a workshop on faculty development here. The workshop was conducted by International Life Transformation Specialist Dr. Maruti Sharma from the University of Life.
The resource person dealt with the issues of ‘Teacher Quality’ i.e. the ability of the teachers to improve student learning and meet the expected standards.
He said that education may be used in reference to a wide variety of learning intended to help teachers improve their knowledge, skill and effectiveness.
They should imbibe in them proper teaching qualities which would help in developing good personalities.
All the teachers found this workshop interesting and informative.
Later, the resource person was presented a memento by the Principal, R.K Verma who also thanked him for sharing his views with the faculty.
Ajatshatru Singh, Chairman/Sole Trutee-Maharaja Hari Singh Social and Education Foundation, Ritu Singh- Member Trustee, Adhishree Singh-Trustee, Ranvijay Singh-Trustee and S.S Sodhi-Director conveyed their best wishes to Dr. Maruti Sharma and his team for conducting the workshop successfully.
