JAMMU: Nine students from Delhi Public School (DPS) Jammu won seven medal including one silver and six bronze in Wako India Cadet and Junior National Kick Boxing Championship and
Senior WAKO India Federation Cup 2016-17, which was held from 15th to 19th January 2017 at Talkatora Indoor Stadium, New Delhi.
Vaibhav Zutshi-X D won silver medal, while Tehmour VIII C, Rudresh – VI H, Fahein VI G, Rakshit Verma-VIII C, Aman Bargotra-VIII C and Amodhini- IX J secured bronze medals.
Principal, DPS Jammu Ruchi Chabra congratulated both the winners, their parents and the Coach Sunil Dev and remarked that the winning medals would serve as encouragement for other young players to follow their path.
Headmistress Meenu Gupta, also applauded the efforts and achievement of the participants as well as the coach.
President RCT, Ajatshatru Singh, PVC Ritu Singh and Director S.S Sodhi also conveyed their best wishes to the winners, their parents and the coach.
