DPS Jammu wins 8th State Painting Competition

JAMMU: Students of Delhi Public School (DPS) Jammu brought laurels to the school by winning State level painting competition 2017-18 on ‘Water Conservation’ organised by Central Ground Water Board (CGWB), Ministry of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation, Government of India at Government Women’s College, Gandhi Nagar, here on February 28.
Kritika Sharma (VIII-A) won first prize and a cash award of Rs. 5,000 while Manya Didwal (VIII-D) and Suzain Iqbal (VII-G) received consolation prizes and a cash award of Rs. 2,000 each.
A.K Gandotra, Chief Engineer, PHE, the Chief Guest on the occasion, felicitated the winners. Principal DPS Jammu, Ruchi Chabra congratulated the winners and Teacher Incharge Suresh Sharma for their achievement. Headmistress, Meenu Gupta also lauded them.
President RCT, Ajatshatru Singh, Pro Vice Chairperson, Ritu Singh and Director, S.S Sodhi also extended their best wishes to the winners and their parents.
