JAMMU: Nikshan Kumar, a student of Class IX of Delhi Public School (DPS) Jammu brought laurels to the school by winning CBSE Expression Series on Mahatma Gandhi and Sanitation’ held for all CBSE schools across India.
In a special award ceremony held at Bal Bhavan, New Delhi, the Minister of Human Resource Development Smriti Zubin Irani felicitated the student with a cash award of Rs 2,500 along with a memorabilia in the form of a book containing compilations of all award winning entries selected for CBSE Expression Series and a certificate of excellence.
Additional Director/Principal, Dr. (Mrs.) D. Joseph, congratulated Nikshan for his exceptional performance at national level. She also congratulated the parents of Master Nikshan for the achievement of their son.
Headmistress DPS Jammu, Ruchi Chabra also blessed him for his bright future.
President RCT, Ajatshatru Singh, Pro-Vice Chairperson, Kunwrani Ritu Singh and Director DPS Jammu, S. S. Sodhi also congratulated Nikshan and his parents.
