JAMMU: Delhi Public School (DPS) students won galaxy of medals in District Level Wushu Competition organized by the District Jammu Wushu Association at MA Stadium, Jammu from 24th to 26th of November, 2016. Out of 50 students of DPS Jammu who participated in the competition, 37 of them brought laurels for the school by winning seven gold, 15 silver and 15 bronze medals.
Gold: Amber Sethi V-C, Saksham Singh IV-H, Mehak Gupta VIII-C, Bhavanshi Khajuria IV-H, Danish Mumtaz IV-E, Aqsa Malik VII-G and Mishthi Aggarwal IV-B.
Silver: Parmatam Dev Singh VIII-I, Aman Bargotra VIII-C, Rehan Beigh IV-B, Rakshit Verma VIII-C, Samrath Singh IV-H, Rajveer Singh IV-H, Shreya Balgotra VI-G, Tehzeeb Javed VI-G, Shezad Shiyam VI-H, Sammarjeet singh VI-H, Saksham Gupta VII-G, Sheikh Rizwan VIII-D, Agastya Manhas IV-H, Azeen Iqbal Bhat V-B and Aryan Verma IV-B.
Bronze: Amar Sethi VIII-C, Adhikshit VI-B, Yatharth sharma VIII-B, Amodhni Gupta IX-J, Vaibhav Zutshi X-D, Mohd. Tehmour Javaid VIII-C, Vanshpreet Singh IV-K, Mukrram-ul-Basher VII-J, Kamalika Kundal VI-G, Rudresh Sharma VI-H, Kanika VI-G, Rabjeet Singh V-C, Vansh Kotwal VI-E and Aniket III -I .
Principal, Ruchi Chabra congratulated and lauded the efforts of all the winners, their parents and the coach Sunil Dev Singh. Headmistress, Meenu Gupta also appreciated the efforts of the winners and the coach.
President RCT, Ajatshatru Singh, Pro Vice Chairperson, Ritu Singh and Director, S.S Sodhi also applauded and conveyed their best wishes to all the winners for their future endeavours.
