JAMMU: Democratic Pannun Kashmir (DPK) on Sunday slammed the separatists for opposing the settlement of Kashmiri Pandits in the valley. Convener DPK Ravinder Jalali addressing a meeting of the party, said separatists’ opposition to the proposed separate colonies for Kashmiri Pandits in Valley is clear indication of how much hatred they have for the people who are the aborigines of the valley.
He said that the separatists’ stand is deliberate, malicious and mischievous and to dissuade the Government of its move of facilitating return the KPs to valley. “On one hand they say that they welcome dignified return of KPs and on the other hand oppose the establishment of colonies for the KPs tooth and nail and threaten that they will be attacked” he added.
The party convener also lambasted some black sheep miscreants in the community who are opposing the settlement of KPs in separate colonies. The party said that these black sheep must be in league with the separatists and may be receiving funds for dividing the community on the basis of settlement. If they had to oppose why not up till now and when the settlement and return of KPs are taking final and concrete shape they are deliberately creating hurdles, he said and added it clearly shows that these people (black sheep) are paid agents of separatists who are bent upon to thwart the return of KPs. He appealed to the community members not to be hoodwinked by these so called agents of separatists.
