UDHAMPUR: As per the inputs regarding absenteeism in the government offices in the district, a surprise checking of some Govt. offices was conducted by the Additional Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Angrez Singh Rana on Friday and various officers / officials were found absent from their duty.
While checking the office of EM and RE Division Office, Udhampur, the two officials were found absent from their duty namely Rajesh Gupta (DM) and Ashok Chand Senior Assistant. During the surprise check the of office of EMRE Sub Division – II Udhampur Lovely Devi R/ Asst, Dharanter Singh Orderly Suresh Rani, Om Parkash were found absent from their duty. He also paid surprise visit to Chief Medical Office where AD Planning Veena Kumari, Kaka Ram, (DPMS), Mohinder Kumar (PMA), Jamida Bibi class-IV, Suresh Kumar CA with Dy. CMO Office Udhampur were found absent from their duty. During the checking of Office of Tuberculoses Udhampur, Dr. Yashpal ( DTO) Jacob Galding (NO ) Suram Chand (N.O) were found absent.
ADC Udhampur Angrez Singh Rana directed the concerned district officers of the respective departments to seek explanation from delinquent officials within a period of three days and furnish the reply to his office within week’s time for charge sheeting the delinquent officials under CSR. Meanwhile the Drawing and Disbursing Officers were directed not to draw the salary of the above mentioned officials who were found absent from their duty.
