Don’t politicise issue of establishing nursing college: Saroori

Kishtwar: PCC Vice President and MLA Inderwal G. M Saroori on Tuesday advised the political parties not to politicise the issue of establishment of Nursing College in Kishtwar.
The political parties from the Kishtwar are playing their cards on the pity issues just for their political benefits which is quite unfortunate and it seems unbecoming on their part.
MLA Inderwal said this while addressing public meeting at Thal Dandu area of Panchayat Rahal Thal in Tehsil Mugalmaidan of district Kishtwar.
The Nursing College Kishtwar will definitely help the girls belonging to hilly and far-flung areas to excel in their field and particularly community girls will come to know about the various things through this sort of education, he said.
Saroori stressed for start of classes at the Nursing College in Kishtwar from the next session schedule from March 2016. He said that till the land dispute with Islamia Faridia School is solved, the government should start the classes either in Wakf property or on rented property.
He also informed that one team was deputed by Minister for Wakf Abdul Rehman Veeri for the early establishment of Nursing College at Kishtwar and stressed on the team for starting of classes at the earliest.
MLA Inderwal urged all the political parties to refrain from politics and rise above party level and let community be benefitted by this move so that poor boys and girls of far flung areas also get benefited.
Saroori while addressing the party workers appealed the coalition partners to shun the divisive politics.
He also advised them not to play with fire with an ulterior motive to disturb the congenial atmosphere of peace, communal harmony and brotherhood in the State.
He warned the coalition partners that the flames of hatred politics would not only destroy the social fabric in the State but would also engulf them thereby decimating their very existence forever.
He also said that present coalition is responsible for vitiating the overall atmosphere of peace and harmony in the State. He appealed to the people to reject the opportunist and divisive forces and strengthen Congress Party in the coming Panchayat elections as a perfect reply to the wrong policies of the present coalition.
Calling upon the party activists to spread message of Congress in every nook and corner of the State, Saroori said that only Congress party can address aspirations of all sections of the society. “Establishing lasting peace and to consolidate the reconciliation process is on top of the agenda of Congress”, Saroori said and made it clear that main aim was to fulfill aspirations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir and to establish peace in this region. In the meeting party workers assured that they would take up message of the party in each part of Jammu to educate the people.
Prominent person include Haji Ghulam Qadir Sheikh, Tariq Wani, Hafiz Ali Mohd, Mohd Shafi Sheikh, Chowdhary Noor Din, Mushtaq Ahmed, Ghulam Mouhiuddin, Ghulam Nabi, Ghulam Mohd Wani, Ashiq Hussain Wani, Adil Hussain, Mehraj Din and Congress workers in large were present on the occasion.
