JAMMU: Dogra College of Education organised an extension lecture on ‘Investor Awareness Programme’ for the B.Ed. students in the college on Friday.
The programme started with the lighting of traditional lamp followed by welcome address by Sumer Singh, Senior Lecturer of the College.
Resource Person, Raman Kalra, Assistant Manager from National Stock Exchange of India limited, emphasised on benefits of investing in security market, rights and obligations of an investor on security market and awareness on the products available in the security market.
He also stressed upon the possible risks to be faced by the investor in the security market.
Prominent persons present on the occasion were Prof. B.D Damral, Director (Academics), Dogra College of Education, Shefali Sharma, Vice Principal, Dogra College of Education, Bela Thakur, Academic Coordinator of the College and the faculty members.
Vote of thanks was presented by Shamsher Singh, Lecturer of the College.
