UDHAMPUR: District Legal Services Authority Udhampur on Saturday organised an awareness programme on the topic Pre-Institution Mediation & Settlement and NALSA (Child Friendly Legal Services to Children and their Protection) Scheme, 2015 under Fourth Phase of “Back to Village Programme (B2V4), 2022.
The twin events were organized under the overall supervision of Secretary District Legal Services Authority Udhampur, Sub-Judge Rajni Sharma at Panchayat Roun. Resource Person of the programme was Panel Lawyer Adv. Sanjeet Kumar.
The Resource person highlighted the importance of Settlement of disputes at pre institution stage. The resource persons encouraged the gathering to settle their disputes out of the court as the Indian Judicial System is over burdened with litigations.
Meanwhile, the Awareness Programme on the topic NALSA (Child Friendly Legal Services to Children and their Protection) Scheme, 2015 was held at Panchayat Badali and the Resource Person was Panel Lawyer Advocate Sanjeet Kumar. The resource person threw light on the NALSA Scheme and reiterated the mission of legal services institutions to provide all possible help to the downtrodden sections of the society especially children.
Later, the Secretary District Legal Services Authority Udhampur, Rajni Sharma thanked the resource person and other participants for participating in the awareness programmes and highlighted the issues related to children. The Secretary DLSA Udhampur explained to the participants about the initiative of the Back to Village Programme run by the Government.
PLV Sham Lal Sharma assisted in the smooth conduct of the Programme.
