JAMMU: Organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS), annual inter-district Division level Football Under-19 year boys got underway at Khel Goan Nagrota, near here on Wednesday.
The opening day witnessed entertaining contests in the preliminary round of the three-day event being hosted by district (DYSS) Jammu. Teams from nine districts of Jammu Division have reported for the competition.
The technical panel from the department for today’s matches comprised Taranpal Singh , Raman Kumar, Rohit Gupta, Naveen Singh, Davinder Singh, Gurbachan Singh and Samunder Singh.
The Results: Udhampur beat Kathua 3-0; Samba beat Poonch 1-0; Rajouri beat Doda 4-0; Jammu beat Kishtwar 4-0.
