POONCH: Deputy Commissioner Poonch Mohammad Harun Malik on Wednesday chaired a meeting to review and finalise the arrangements for the upcoming Divisional level Sports Tournament at Poonch. The tournament is scheduled to be held from 27th August to 7th September 2016 at Sports Stadium and Higher Secondary School Poonch. The meeting was informed that the district is hosting this mega sports event of divisional level for the first time. The tournament will include inter district Hockey and football matches under the age group of 14, 17 and 19 both for boys and girls. While reviewing the arrangements, DC directed the concerned officers to put in concerted efforts for making the event successful.
