SRINAGAR: The Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Raohit Kansal on Saturday reviewed the Muharam arrangements at an officers meeting here.
The Div Com enjoined upon the officers to ensure all the facilities in Shia dominated areas. He asked them to make available rice, sugar, kerosene, and fire wood besides ensuring uninterrupted supply of power and water during Muharam days.
Rohit Kansal asked engineers of R&B to carry out necessary repairs of roads at Hasnabad, Zedibal and other areas. He asked traffic police authority to make alternate arrangement for regulate traffic in these areas where Zuljana procession will be taken out. He asked J and K Police to deploy adequate police personnel for ensuring safety of people.
