SRINAGAR: The Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Baseer Ahmad Khan on Wednesday convened a high level meeting to review overall law and order situation, medicare facilities, power and drinking water besides availability of essential commodities.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, IGP Kashmir Zone, Director Food
and Supplies and other officers of concerned
departments.
The Deputy Commissioners of all districts of the valley besides SSPs and other concerned officers attended in the meeting through video conferencing.
The Divi Com also inquired about the facilities and arrangements being made for Hajj Pilgrimage-2016 in the valley. He stressed the concerned to take every possible step for ensuring better arrangements for the Hajj pilgrims at Hajj House Srinagar and at Srinagar Airport.
During the meeting the Divisional Commissioner was informed that the attendance of employees in various government offices is improving. He was also told that better healthcare facilities are being ensured to the patients at hospitals in every district.
