UDHAMPUR: Daksh and Sourav entered to the semifinals of cadet boys section in the ongoing District Open Table Tennis Championship, organised by Udhampur Police in collaboration with District administration and Udhampur Table Tennis Academy (UTTA), here on Sunday. Earlier, in Daksh beat Archit by 3-1 and Sourav trounced Praval by 3-0 in the respective quarterfinals of cadet boys section. In sub junior quarterfinals, Harshit Ramotra defeated Raunak Singh by 2-0 and Mahi Kailu outplayed Sakshyam Singh by 2-0. Anju Devi downed Siya Sharma by 2-1 and Shalu Devi blanked Pratibha by 2-1 and entered in semifinals of junior girls. In senior boys, Dr Rajesh Kumar beat Mohit Dubey by 2-0 and Kumar Tarun beat Ravi Kumar by 2-0 and entered in quarterfinals. Today’s matches were officiated by Ankit Sharma, Sunny Sharma, Tanvir Singh, Prikshit Khajuria and Akhil Bandral. and Rajat Kandaray (R.S Pura) 4th. 96 Kg: Deepak Chowdhary (R.S Pura) 1st, Nikhlesh Dhiwan (R.S Pura) 2nd and Amit Chib (R.S Pura) 3rd.
