DODA: To develop the scientific temper and to provide a platform to student community to showcase their ability and innovative approach, District Institute of Education and Trainings Doda on Monday organised seventh District Level Science/ Mathematics Exhibition in Town Hall Doda.
District Development Commissioner Doda Shyam Vinod Meena inaugurated the exhibition and was the Chief Guest on the occasion. While addressing the students and teaching community, DDC Doda enjoined upon the teaching community to work with devotion and dedication to uplift the educational standard of poor students living in far flung and rural areas of the district. He said the child is the future of the country and every step should be taken to upgrade his / her educational , ethical, physical and creative skills.
DDC also highlighted the fact that abundant talent in the youth of the region is available and the need is to explore it which could be done by providing a platform and opportunity to the youth. DDC also took a round of the exhibition and inspected each Model and interacted with the students and appreciated their efforts for preparing the models with limited resources and technical guidance. Later on DDC held an interactive session with the students and listened to their problems and grievances which include deficiency of staff, lack of adequate accommodation , toilet facility, library and laboratory, besides various other issues were raised by the students.
Principal DIET Doda K.L Parihar, District Treasury Officer Doda B.S Jaryal, DIO Doda Anoop Kumar, ALC ( Member Secretary SVEEP Doda) Tabish Saleem among other senior officers and lecturers of different schools were also present in the exhibition.
