REASI: Zone Reasi emerged as overall winner in the District level inter Zonal Competitions organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports Reasi at Zorawar Sports Stadium Reasi.
About 250 girls of five Zones namely Chassana, Mahore, Arnas, Pouni and Reasi participated in the disciplines of kabaddi, kho-kho and volleyball in under-14 and 17 age category. Om Parkash, Zonal Physical Education Officer Reasi and Manohar Lal Sharma, Zonal Physical Education Officer Chassana were the Special Guests on the occasion. Ajay Kumar Billa, Ashok Kumar Katal, Ravi Kumar, Bholi Devi, Ashok Kumar, Pardeep Nag, Romesh Chander, Ashoka Kumari were also present.
The matches were officiated by Devinder Kour, Anil Singh, Des Raj, Kuldeep Raj, Sanjeev Kumar, Ram Asra, Asha Devi and Rani Devi.
Under 14: Kho-Kho: Zone Reasi beat Zone Chassana by 10-04. Kabaddi: Reasi Zone defeated Arnas by 15-05. Volleyball: Zone Pouni outplayed Zone Reasi by 2-0.
Under-17: Kho-Kho: Reasi Zone beat Zone Arnas by 08-05. Kabaddi: Reasi Zone trounced Pouni by 20 points. Volleyball: Zone Pouni defeated Zone Arnas by 2-1 sets.
