JAMMU: Jammu and Kashmir Billiards and Snooker Association has decided to hold Jammu District Billiards and Snooker Tournament from 22nd August at Billiards Hall, MA Stadium, here. The competition shall be held for two different events of Ist Six Red Ball and 24th Junior and Senior District Championship, a handout issued by the association here on Saturday said.
Those interested participants have been advised to submit their entry fee with the organising committee before 21st August up to 5:00 PM.
The entry fee for Six Red Ball event has been fixed at Rs 300 while for other event of sub-junior the fee is Rs 200. Entry fee for those senior players is Rs 300.
“The competition shall be played following the rules of thee Billiards and Snooker Federation of India,” informed Organising Secretary of the Tournament, Gurjeev Singh.
Earlier, the association held a meeting under the chairmanship of its President Sanjeev Gupta. The meeting was attended besides others by Senior Vice President, Jaideep Manocha, Vice President, Nikhil Kapahi, Treasurer, Sohail Khalid, Kuldeep Choudhary and Ishuk Choudhary (both Executive Members).
