RS PURA: The First District Athletic Meet, organised by Young Athletic Club in Bana Singh Stadium, RS Pura concluded on Sunday.
Captain Bana Singh (PVC) was the Chief Guest in the closing ceremony who gave away prizes to winners.
Other officials present on the occasion were Organising Secretary Kundan Pahalwan, Athletic Coach and overall Incharge of the Tournament, Shames Malik, Dr Mehak, Rajni Atri, Gourav Kumar Atri, Jatinder Singh, Rakeh Kumar and Sanjay Maandi.
The competition was held under the supervision of members of the club.
Final Results
Boys U-14: 200 mtr: Amarjeet Singh 1st, Wahid Choudhary 2nd and Abhishek Sharma 3rd. U-18 200 mtr: Shams Din 1st, Ashwani Kundal 2nd and Arjun Singh 3rd.
Senior Boys: 200 mtr: Amandeep Khajuria 1st, Teg Ali 2nd and Sunil Singh 3rd. 800 mtr: Sukhwinder Singh 1st, Sunny Kumar 2nd and Jogesh Kumar 3rd. 1500 mtr: Rahul Lachotra 1st, Rajinder Kumar 2nd and Tajinder Singh 3rd. High Jump: Chetan Atri 1st, Rahul Atri 2nd and Arjun Atri 3rd. Shot put: Krish Khullar 1st, Kamal Khullar 2nd and Parveen Kumar 3rd.
Senior Girls: 200 mtr: Damini Sharma 1st, Ravinder Kour 2nd and Ashiya Bano 3rd. 400 mtr: Ritika Kundal 1st, Preeti Bhariti 2nd and Khushi 3rd. 3000 mtr: Damini Sharma 1st, Jyoti Kumari 2nd and Komal Kumari 3rd.
The matches were officiated by Shames Mailk, Gourav Kumar Atri, Rakesh Kumar, Jatinder Singh and Sanjay Maandi.
