JAMMU: Director, Rural Development Department (RDD), Jammu accompanied by Assistant Commissioner Development, Jammu and Executive Engineer, Rural Engineering Wing Jammu visited block Marh on Friday.
During the visit various works under MGNREGA were inspected.
Later, he also took a brief meeting of the staff and field functionaries of block Marh and impressed upon them to ensure transparency and accountability in functioning of their offices.
Director also inspected online Management Information System (MIS) site maintained by the block with an expenditure of Rs.128.14 lakh leaving availability of Rs.0.14 lakh against the committed liability of Rs.38.68 lakh. He also visited and inspected ongoing and completed works in Panchayat Gangwah Parwah under CDF and MGNREGA and instructed field staff to ensure quality of these development works.
