SURANKOTE: Abdul Majeed Bhatt, Director Finance along with his team comprises of Assistant Director Planning, Fayaz Ahmed, Mohd Hussain Tantray and Er. Sanjeev Gupta from RUSA visited Govt. Degree College Surankote and was accorded warm welcome by Principal GDC Surankote Dr. Jasbir Singh.
Dr. Jasbir Singh briefed the team regarding on-going work and future developmental projects of the college which includes levelling of the college playground, construction of boundary wall of the college campus, Up-gradation of the laboratories, installation of power transformer in the college and salary issue of academic arrangement teachers. Prof. Khaleeq Ahmed HOD Sociology and Coordinator RUSA briefed the team about the progress of the projects under RUSA
M. H. Tantary discussed various financial issues and advised the college for timely utilisation of funds after adhering all codal formalities. He also stressed upon the maintenance of account records with account section of college.
The team also interacted with Er. Imtiaz Mir AEE, PWD (R&B) department for future extension of college development works. Those who were present on the occasion include Dr. Syed Wajahat Hussain Co-ordinator IQAC, Dr. Khalil Ahmed Reshi, Dr. Naseer Ahmed Kalis, Prof. Raiz Ahmed Dr. Sarfraz Ahmed, Dr. Ramzan Ahmed, Raj Kumar.
