Director Agri, BDO, others attain superannuation

JAMMU: Various government employees and officials on Thursday attained superannuation.
Director Agriculture, Jammu, Sudesh Koul and ARE, Jammu, Devender Sharma were given a farewell by the staff and officers of the Directorate of Agriculture, Jammu here today.
Sudesh Koul retired after rendering 37 years of service in Agriculture Department.
On the occasion A.K Malhotra took charge as the new Director Agriculture. He complemented Koul and Devender Sharma for rendering dedicated and unblemished services and also wished a very happy and prosperous post retirement life.
On this occasion other departmental officers and officials retired included Bipan Sambyal, CAO, Kathua, G.D Gupta, CAO Samba, Sheetal Singh, SCA, Narinder Singh, JAEO, Dansal, Som Raj, JAEO, Marh, Bhola Ram, JAEO, R.S Pura, Dev Raj, JAEO, Kathua, Tilak Raj Sharma, JAEO, Samba, Vijay Kumar, JAEO, Samba, Mohd Ali Zargar, JAEO, DODA, Jamal Din, Bee Keeper, Ramban, Bodh Raj, Field Assistant, Udhampur, Birpaul Singh, PPO and Ghulam Rasool from Rajouri.
C. M Sharma, Dy Director (Central), Jammu, K.K Sharma, SMS, Vijay Upadhaya, President All Jammu and Kashmir Agriculture Officers Welfare Forum (AJKAOWF), Amrik Singh, General Secretary, Non-Gazetted Agriculture Employees Association (NGAEA) and others also spoke about the dedicated services rendered by the retiring officers in their tenure.
Pradeep Sharma, President, NGAGA conducted the proceedings of the programme and presented the vote of thanks.
Meanwhile, the Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Federation Jammu gave a warm send off to Director Health Services Jammu, Dr. Baljit Pathania here today. Assistant Entomologist UMCP (Malaria Org), Chuni Lal, who also attained age of superannuation along with Dr. Pathania.
Directorate of Health Services employees held a farewell function for the retiring officers.
Farooq Khan, Administrator Lakshdeep, Dr. Krishan Lal, MLA Chamb Constituency also attended the function.
The speakers lauded the services of Dr. Baljit Pathania who rendered about 35 years of un-blemished service in the Health Department. Similarly services of Chuni Lal was also praised. On this occasion they were also presented mementos and gifts as a token of love.
Those who spoke on the occasion included Sushil Sudan, President JKMEF, Jarnail Choudhary, Mohd Saleem, C.L Koul and Bharat Bhushan Bhagat.

Director (Schemes), All Assistant Directors, all CMOs of Jammu Division, Medical Superintendent Govt Hospitals Gandhinagar / Sarwal/ Rajiv Gandhi/Police Hospital, BMOs of Jammu District besides Jarnail Choudhary, Mohd Saleem, C.L Koul, R.P Singh, Bharart Bushan, Manjeet Singh, Pawan Singh, Anoop Singh, Kulraj (Bitu), Vishal Patil, Yugal Bakshi and Dalip Kumar.
Block Development Officer, Block Trigam Tehsil Kishtwar, Susheela Sharma attained superannuation here today after putting in about 40 years of unblemished service in the Department of Rural Development.
Born on 10th of September 1956, she has joined the Department of Rural Development in the year 1978, as Gram Sevika and by the dint of her hard work, commitment, she rose to the ranks of Block Development Officer.
Meanwhile, Joint Director (Farms) Sheep Husbandry Department, Jammu, Dr. C.S. Manhas, who retired from the government service was accorded farewell at a function organized by the staff of Sheep Husbandry Department Jammu,
Speaking on occasion Director, Sheep Husbandry Jammu Dr. Sant Ram recalled the services rendered by the officer and wished him a happy and prosperous post retirement life.
Headmaster, Sharda Kumari today attained superannuation at a function organized here by the staff of School Education Department at Government High School, Marh, (Zone Dansal) Jammu. She rendered her services for 35 years in the School Education Department. Headmaster Government High School Gundla appreciated the services of the retiring headmaster.
Others who attained superannuation include Stores Officer, Subash Chander, Chauffeur Ranjeet Singh and Chauffeur Tilak Raj Padha here today by the staff of State Motor Garages Department Jammu.
On the occasion, Deputy Director, State Motor Garages Department Jammu, Syed Muarif Andrabi was the Chief Guest.
The function was hosted by Abdul Qadir, Spokesperson of the Union and attended by the ministerial staff, SMG Jammu, technical staff, SMG Jammu and the crew members of the union.
A warm farewell was given to the officers and officials of District Police Jammu, by the Jammu Police.
SSP Jammu Dr. Sunil Gupta, SP Hqrs Romesh Chander Kotwal, DySP DAR Gourav Mahajan, RI DPL Inspr Sohail Rashid and other staff members were present at the function was organized in District Police Lines, Jammu. SSP Jammu appreciated their services rendered for the general public of J and K State.
Each retiree was honored with a cheque of Rs. 50,000 as retirement gift (out of Police Welfare Fund).
The retiring officials include SI Uttam Chand, resident of Vijaypur District Samba, ASI Des Raj resident of Nandpur District Samba, ASI Kulbir Singh resident of Ward No. 2 Simbal Camp District Jammu, HC Sham Lal resident of Maira Akhnoor District, HC Paramjit Singh resident of Miran Sahib District Jammu, HC Harbans Singh resident of Narwal Pian District Jammu, Sgct. Amar Singh resident of Dumana, District Jammu, Foll Joginder Singh resident of Bhoper, Khour District Jammu and Foll Ram Saran resident of Tekri Dayala Sadar District Jammu.
Jammu University Non-Teaching Employees Union (JUNTEU) accorded a warm send off to Head Assistant Puran Chand who retired after attaining age of superannuation on Friday.
Pawan Singh, President, of the Union hailed the contribution of Puran Chand.
The farewell was accorded in presence of Ashwani Bakshi, Vice-President, Vikas Langer, Organising Secretary, Sunita Amla, Padam Shri Padamani, Joginder Singh, Niranjan and Jarnail Singh, members of the Union.
The office of Joint Director Information Department Jammu accorded a warm farewell to Senior Mechanic, Suresh Kumar, who superannuated after 38 years of Government service in the Information Department.
Joint Director Information department, T.R Shastri applauded the role of Suresh Kumar in rendering duty with punctuality and honesty.
Among others, Deputy Director HQ Priyanka Bhatt, Deputy Director PR Avleen Kaur, Assistant Directors, Vivek Phonsa, Mamta Bhagat, Information Officers, Priya Lakshmi, Raman Joshi and senior officers and officials were also present on the occasion.
