Dimple seeks better traffic management

JAMMU: President, Jammu West Assembly Movement, Sunil Dimple led a protest on the Janipur-High Court Road, against the rising accidents in Jammu city and the region.
Addressing the protestors, Dimple said that government has no traffic management plan, a number of accidents take place daily and consume innocent human lives.
He expressed shock over the tragic death of a student who was crushed to death on Talab Tillo road on Monday by a rashly driven matador.
He alleged that the BJP-PDP government has no master plan to control the traffic problem of the Jammu city and making the people the fodder of accidents.
Dimple demanded from the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti to immediately start construction of flyovers at Rehari Chungi, Jewel Chowk.
He demanded construction of alternative four way circular road from Amphalla Manda to High Court Janipur, to Roop Nagar, Bantalab and from Jewal Chowk to Talab Tillo via Bhagwat Nagar canal road to ease the traffic problem on the Amphalla, New Plot, Janipur, Bantalab road. Dimple also demanded widening of the Jewel canal to Purkhu Akhnoor road.
Other present in the protest were Sham Saroop Gupta, Harbans Tondon, Som Nath, Raman Gupta, Bansi Lal, Muna Dogra, Ashok Khan, Dev Raj, R.N Bhan and Roky Kapahi.
