Dimple demands State Assembly be dissolved

JAMMU: Jammu West Assembly Movement President Sunil Dimple alleged that there is no chance of government formation in Jammu and Kashmir in near future. He demanded from the Governor N.N Vohra to dissolve the State Assembly and stop salaries of the MLAs forthwith. He also demanded from the Governor to get the bungalows of ex ministers and MLAs’ and hostel rooms from the MLAs vacated at an earliest.
In a press release issued on Thursday, Dimple said that the MLAs and the ministers of defunct Assembly are unnecessary burden on the public exchequer. He demanded cancellation of the pensionary benefits to the MLAs and ministers as the 10 months BJP-PDP government was a disputed government of unholy, unpopular alliance. He demanded diversion of those funds for clearing the salaries of daily wagers. He also demanded from the Governor to withdraw the security Jammers being used by these ex ministers.
Dimple further alleged that the BJP led Central Government is misusing the Jammu Kashmir Governor House and created an atmosphere of uncertainty, instability in the J and K State for the last two months. He demanded that the Governor should recommend to the President and the Central Government to dissolve the present hung, defunct Assembly and hold fresh elections in the State.
