JAMMU: Diksha Koul, daughter of Ashok Koul and Veena Koul, residing at H No. 124, Ganesh Vihar, Lower Muthi, has been awarded the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Sciences.
She conducted her research at CSIR-Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (CSIR-IIIM), Jammu, focusing on the topic “Exploration of Serratia marcescens Isolated from Mulberry Phyllosphere for Therapeutic Applications.”
Her research was carried out under the supervision of Dr. Asha Chaubey, Senior Principal Scientist and Head of the Fermentation and Microbial Biotechnology Division at CSIR-IIIM.
Koul published her research work in highly reputed SCIE-indexed international journals and presented her papers at numerous national and international conferences.
Her achievement marks a significant contribution to the field of microbial biotechnology and fermentation division.
