DIG meets winners of various talent hunt competitions

SRINAGAR: Deputy Inspector General of Police, South Kashmir, Range, Nitish Kumar organized a meeting with the Youth who had participated and won medals in various Talent hunt programmes organised by J and K Police.
These youth had displayed their performance and excelled in singing competition “Choona Hai Aasman”, Debating and Marathon run.
DIG South Kashmir, Nitish, Kumar congratulated all the youth for achieving excellence in various extra-curricular activities despite poor infrastructure and support and urged them to freely express their vision and dreams.
During the meet, Singers, in unanimity, desired that Police Department should organise musical contests more often and help in forming a musical band in each district.
Marathon runners desired that J and K Police should help to organise some athletic coaching camps and also facilitate their admission in some good sports academy in the country.
Debate competition winners hoped that J and K Police would organize more debating competitions and also facilitate their access to good books and literature.
DIG SKR assured that JKP, to the extent possible, would help them in achieving their goals in life and actualising their dreams.
He also assured that Police Department will liaise with the Youth and Sports Department and Department of Tourism and Culture in J and K.
