REASI: The CMDE Wing of the DIET Reasi organised District Level Quiz Competition in Science and Mathematics.
Principal DIET Reasi, Darshan Lal inaugurated the event, while HoD CMDE Wing, Vidyotma Gupta presided over.
Fourteen teams from different schools of district Reasi participated in Secondary Level Science Quiz competition and twelve teams from different schools of the district participated in elementary level Mathematics Quiz Competition.
In Mathematics Quiz the first prize was bagged by the team of Presentation Convent High School Reasi, while second and third prize was achieved by the team of Government High School (GHS) Bhaga (Reasi) and Government Middle School Matlot Arnas.
In the elementary level of Mathematics Quiz, the team of GHS Bagga (Mahore) secured first position while second position was bagged by the team of Pine Land Public Higher Secondary School Katra and third position was bagged by Trikuta Shiksha Niketan Katra and Govt. Girls Higher Secondary School Reasi.
HoD Math, Sushma Verma was the incharge of the event and K.C Sharma and M. Akram Khan from ET Cell gave full Coverage while Virender Dutta conducted the proceedings.
Others present on the occasion were O.N Raina, Sanjay Zutshi, O.N Sharma, Sumesh Gupta, R.C Sharma, Kalap Lata, Tripta Manyal, Sonia Choudary, Asha Kumari and Puja Puri. The vote of thanks was presented by Sushma Verma.
