REASI: District level painting competition was organised by ET Cell of DIET Reasi on Wednesday for secondary classes at diet premises, thirty five students from twelve schools of district Reasi participated in the competition.
The participants prepared their paintings on the themes- Swach Bharat Abhiyan, Jammu and Kashmir before and after Flood, Life of people at Border.
Darshan Lal Principal DIET Reasi was the Chief Guest on the occasion and also inaugurated the event. The five best painters adjudged by the jury were Janvi Nayyar from Pine Land Public School Katra, Ashina Thakur Govt. H. S. Aghar Jitto, Sheetal Bloach and Abhishek Kumar both from Presentation Convent School Reasi and Aman Bassan GHS Kheral.
M. Akram Khan, Virender Dutta, Sanjay Zutshi, K.C Sharma, Pooja Puri were the jury members. Prominent among present on the occasion were O. N Raina, Sushma Verma, Vedotma Gupta, Asha Kumari, Sonia Choudary, Ajay Mahajan and Narinder Sharma.
Chief Guest appreciated the paintings done by the student participants.
